CONCENTRATION THE PATHS TO SUCCESS

Our two natures; one wants to advance; the other wants to pull us back. The one we concentrate on and develop determines what we will become. How you may change your whole career and accomplish miracles. We can be completely controlled by our concentrated thought. How can you make an "opportunity". One man's opportunity is usually another man's loss. A very beneficial practice. Why we get back what we give out. A wonderful encouraging tonic. Every man that is willing to put forth the necessary effort can be a success. The man that is best prepared to do things. How to make your services always in demand. How to reach the top. The man selected to manage is not usually a genius. He does not possess any more talent than others. What he does possess that others do not. Why a few succeed and so many fail.  Checking through the life of the successful elites we found out that their success isn't base on knowledge alone or skill but more on concentration t...

Concentration; a great asset

"To develop this ability, you have to train your mind. Most people believe that concentration is a strenuous and tiring activity, and that it involves exertion and tension, which are difficult and unpleasant. This belief, which usually starts at an early age, is not true". Parents and teachers expect children to study, do their homework and get good grades. Sometimes, they use disciplinary measures against the children. This makes the children feel forced to do something they don't like doing. Telling a child often, that he or she is not concentrating well enough, creates a subconscious aversion to concentration and study. These become associated with coercion, lack of freedom, and doing something they do not like to do. When children grow up, it is no wonder that their power of concentration is too weak. Though most people would admit that good concentration is a great asset, yet, most of them, do nothing to strengthen it, because they don't know how, and beca...

Oprah Winfrey

You've got to follow your passion. You've got to figure out what it is you love - who you really are. And have the courage to do that. I believe that the only courage anybody ever needs is the courage to follow your own dreams.

Never be afraid to try, remember... Amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

The Brain loves "abadonship"

Truly, our brain is geared towards a call of “Abandon ship!” , whenever we come short of our goals. Don’t let this happen to you! The best way to combat your brain from signaling ‘Mission Abort!’ after you’ve missed a short-term goal is to re-frame what just happened. Yes, you did fall short or maybe mess up this time, but remember the progress that you’ve made. You could look at all of the “good days” you’ve accumulated thus far: even if you fell after only a few days of starting your new plan , it’s still an accomplishment to have started one and to have set long-term goals for yourself. Short-term lapses in your end-goal is not like a bad apple spoiling the bunch: you have gotten things accomplished so far and you need to stay focused on the long term, not become distraught by a single mishap. Research tells us that this is the best mindset to take for misfortune and failure in general: your progress and achievements go so much farther than that slip-up; do...

Change your perspective Change your life

“Everything will be better once we move”, “I will be happy again once I start all over again” , “life will be easier when I leave here ”…do any of these sound familiar to you? If so, I’d suggest you read on… There was a time when these comments were all too familiar to me. I was terribly guilty of relying on outside factors to determine my own level of happiness and I wondered why my moods would alter so much from moment to moment! It wasn’t until I really dug deep and changed my perspective that I was able to recognize that my own happiness does not come from outside factors but from the inside. Happiness is a function of acceptance; acceptance of yourself…your authentic self. Once you take the time to start focusing your energy on the present moment and stop waiting for things to change in the future you will recognize a powerful shift in your perspective. Always remember that there is a plan far greater than yours; therefore, replace fear of the unknown with ...
