Change your perspective Change your life

“Everything will be better once we move”, “I
will be happy again once I start all over again” ,
“life will be easier when I leave here ”…do
any of these sound familiar to you? If so, I’d
suggest you read on…
There was a time when these comments were
all too familiar to me. I was terribly guilty of
relying on outside factors to determine my
own level of happiness and I wondered why my
moods would alter so much from moment to
moment!
It wasn’t until I really dug deep and changed
my perspective that I was able to recognize
that my own happiness does not come from
outside factors but from the inside.
Happiness is a function of acceptance;
acceptance of yourself…your authentic self.
Once you take the time to start focusing
your energy on the present moment and stop
waiting for things to change in the future you
will recognize a powerful shift in your
perspective. Always remember that there is
a plan far greater than yours; therefore,
replace fear of the unknown with curiosity
and excitement for what lies ahead.
So, instead of waiting on the winning numbers
for the big lottery, take charge of your own
life and happiness by becoming content and at
peace with yourself…your authentic self.
